Had a problem with my blower motor so I read the thread here about the blower motor and resistor going out and the connector melting. That's what was wrong. Here's the new problem. I replaced the motor, resistor and harness with new OEM Acura parts. Everything was great for about two months until the fan started slowing down then eventually quit again. Connector is fine but blower motor went out again. Open circuit on the spade terminals and nothing happens when direct jump. Got another set of new Acura parts and everything is fine so far but it's only been a week. What would take out a brand new motor and resistor that fast? Codes are fine now but wondering if I will have to go to the dealer if it goes again.

 

Ya may wanna check the fuse and relay to make sure that they are the right ones.

 

ck your work on the new wiring/connector
ck for loose ground wire or melted wire cover damage = exposing bare wire that can touch metal, from prior prob with connector
