In a bind and could use some feedback!!!!!

I've never really posted anything, but always found the forums very informative. Now I really need some help...
My problems occur under 2000 rpms usually 30-35mph. I feel what I describe as a shudder, or on occassion a downshifting like sound but with no drastic change in rpm.
Other times, when cruising in 5th the rpm's fluctuate approximately 500 rpms continuouslly.
Now I've taken my car to Acura and other shops and it still shows no codes. Do I really have to wait until everything is completely fracked up....
Please help!!!!!

how does the transmission fluid look?

and have they actually driven the car or just hooked a scan tool to it, and said nothing was wrong with it?

The fluid is fine but I recently had the tranny rebulit. I took it back and they said they dropped it and checked everything. It wasnt the tranny...
its been happening a little more frequently now so the last mechanic felt it but wasn't sure what it was until i mentioned rebuilding the tranny. And wasnt sure why i wasnt getting any codes...

Sounds like a TC problem since it "Feels" like a Change Gear but not a Change in RPMs? then in 5th the RPMs change?

Torque Convertor is my Guess here, But I can be Wrong since No MIL.

shift selenoids not cleaned or replaced with trans rebuild?

ck fluid level after 15 minute freeway cruise- get off freeway and stop safely-
engine OFF trans in Park- remove dipstick and wipe clean- insert fully- remove and read
Needs to be BETWEEN the 2 upper dots
not at either one--between

the shop used what fluid exactly? dex3 can kill a trans in short order

very hard to believe they `dropped it and inspected`--thats about 10 hours labor to do--not likely something they do unless forced

Drove it around the block and say--let it fail and warranty cover it--that I believe

that is another bit of KEY info there, with possibly not be fully cleaned properly, or reassembled properly

and as 01tl4tl mentioned correct fluid (for the trans itself, not universal crap) is critical to the proper operation of the trans

Can't say I believe that either- did you see it out of the car? How long was it there?

ok well thats because driving raises fluid temp, which causes it to read higher on the stick

please follow the acura directions--
15 minutes from dead cold,,drive on freeway --easy cruise speed (55-65-70)
get off freeway and stop in `safe level place`,,
avoid driving several blocks thru town as that heats the fluid even more--again changing the reading
Once stopped put in Park and shut off engine
immedialty remove dipstick and wipe clean with rag- insert fully- make sure its pushed in all the way
remove and read-- BETWEEN THE UPPER 2 DOTS is correct,,not at either--between
acura does not publish a spec for `drove it 2 hours`~
