Basic brakes and rotors

Hey, wassup fellas, I know this information is posted all of the site but I'm having a hard time finding answers for basic brakes and rotors opposed to performance, now I'm not trying to get anything fancy or expensive, what would be the best inexpensive brakes and rotors you guys would recommend to me? Thanks in advance..

I'd go with OEM pads w/Brembo rotors.

^He said nothing fancy or expensive. Anyways, I'd say Raybestos PG Plus or Advanced Technology rotors and Akebono Pro-Act Ceramic brake pads.

also when changing the rotors would you recommend changing the front only or the back as well?

Depends on which set needs them first, the front or the back. If you are on a budget just get the fronts done, but if you got the $$$$ then do them both at the same time. The front brakes&rotors take most of the action and the back brakes&rotors assist.

X2 for reliability, non performance.

I've always been a fan of Centric Premium line rotors. I had a bad experience with my Brembo rotors. The Brembo blanks warped very quickly for me combined with hawk performance brake pads and the Centric rotors have held up much better.
