Ballast is out? 2002 different then 2000?

Car: 2000 Acura TL
Problem: Driverside light not working properly

One of my lights has been on and off for over a year. Know the bad one only flickers and 80% time its off all together!

I switched the bulbs and ignitors and problem still stayed on the same side.

I got a 2002 TL ballast but saw it wasnt the same as my 2000 TL ballast, the plugs didnt seem to connect!? Is it true the 02 isnt compatable with 2000?

Im suppose to go to a junk yard to grab a ballast or whole light assembly.

Any input? Advice?

wire in aftermarket ballasts. It's super easy. Cut the oem connector off, solder in the new connector.

No need to even cut off/crimp on new connectors: THis kit has pigtails to make it seamless!!! https://www.theretrofitsource.com/ma...epair-kit.html

aftermarket kit is the way to go
yes, 99-01 ballasts differ from 02-03
OEM is only good because they warm up REALLY fast compared to AM
