Bad tranny... should i repair, replace it, or buy new car?

My transmission had been acting up. Feels like the second gear is slipping... Would it be better just to get rid of the car or pay $3700 to replace it or try to repair it???

The original and extended 7 year/ 100,ooo mile trans warranty is for the car. Has nothing to do with how many owners or where purchased

Many on this forum have had the dealer go 50/50 with them on the repair when over the time or mileage limit

Call Acura customer Service at 1 800 382-2238 x5 and talk to them about it

You cant find a better car for what it will cost you to replace the trans anyway- if the rest of the car is sound- stay with a known friend
