auto down mirror in reverse not working

This is a nice feature that occassionally fails to operate. Sometimes if you start moving in reverse before it is fully down it will stop. Sometimes it just doesn't work.

Any ideas?

What year is it? It's only on the '02-'03.

I also had this problem, you should check the connection. In my case one of the wires had a bad connection to the connector. Its not to hard to take off the door panel and check it out.
