Acura rear left door

I have a 1999 Acura TL 3.2. One day the outside rear driver side door handle failed to work although the multiple locking system still operated the lock and I could open the door from the inside. When I saw the little white lever in the end of the door I pushed it thinking this might be the problem and not realizing it was the child safety lock.

This was an unfortunate sequence of events resulting in no access to a defective door handle and now no inside access.

So now I have a car with an inop rear left door. Can’t reach the little white button. Any ideas how to fix this? Or is it unfixable>

Take the back seat out (butt and back, then you can force the door panel off and and open the door.

Im pretty sure you can take inner handle off and pull the bar if not reach under from right side and open it

i have the exact same problem! lol. i turned the child safety knob down thinking that it would solve the problem. Now the door does not even open from the inside. help!

My rear left door only opens from the outside... Ive tried the childlock but that doesnt seem to work. I even took off the door panel and pulled the interior lever and that doesnt work either.
