not the check engine light ... didn't really notice much, right before they began popping up, i thought "hrm, this 4th tranny seems pretty damn smooth" then the lights popped....but i didnt notice anything else strange....except that my battery is really week.

anyway, does ABS + TCS light, without check engine light imply tranny probs??

not typically. if those lights are on id say something in one of those systems are messed up, (since tcs uses the brakes and abs to control wheelspin)

 

ah darn. any ideas what i might be lookin at in terms of repairs?

anybody ever have these two, so i can try assumin what the prob might be before actually taking it in?

cant really say with out knowing what is really wrong. it may be something simple.

Bring it to a local Auto Parts store that does free code scaning and let them read teh code to see whats wrong, then you will know whats up

 

He said he had a really weak battery. Could this be giving him low voltage errors? Alternator problems? I'm putting question marks because I really don't know, just trying to think of things since ABS problems can be expensive.
