99 TL - rear seat belt retractor and right turn clicking noise issue

Hi,
I've got 2 issues on my 99 TL (@ ~124k).

1. My rear seat belt on passenger side got stuck and won't come out any more. is there anything I can do to release it... I have already tried pushing it in as far as it could go... retractor lock seem to have got stuck.... Is there a way to reach it? is there a way to access by removing back of the seat - I couldn't figure out how. I really need it functional for kid's booster seat

2. When making right turn on slop only there is a clicking (not clanking not banging - some kind of clicking ) noise that seems to come from my driver side front wheel well. Any pointers what I am looking at?

FYI - I am the original owner and sole driver of the car and it hasn't been in any accidents or curb run-over or anything

Appreciate any help..

Also does anyone know any alternate service shop in south hills or around in Pittsburgh area... local dealer seems to rip me for everything.

Thanks again.

ck the phone book for small ads in `auto repairing` section in the back
find a few import shops and go ck them put

click click click from the wheel is usually a cv joint failure and it getting bad- ready to fail.
replace the complete axle assembly with a NEW unit from NAPA auto parts, has new bearings-boots-shaft etc

ck yours for torn boots- grease leaked out- grit gets in and goodbye very important wheel/axle/powertrain bearing! very common wearout part- nothing you did to cause failure

rebuilt ones seem to have issues
last known to cost 75 dollars- should still be under 100- call them
shop charge 1 hour labor to replace

see the shock absorber replacement DIY in `Garage` link (the blue things to left to Log Out)
remove rear seat bottem and back for access to belt assembly- see auto dismantlers and recycling in same part of phone book as shops

seat has a couple hidden bolts in the center for the back section- offset from each other,
and pull the edge of the seat to find the ones for the back part at the doorsill edge

Thanks for your reply.... will check out shops in phone book. I couldn't get the bottom of the rear seat removed - it seemed to have some connection slight right to the center that I couldn't figure out. Thought that I had to remove bottom first to get to back of the seat.

I got all the recall repairs right away... also had to get some other repairs under warranty. Although the car is very well maintained with all regular services and interior exterior cares etc, small failures and repairs have risen a lot since 80k ...

bottom of the seat should have a 10mm bolt under the middle seat belts u gotta remove

+1 on the clicking noise being an axle.

Front CV axel specs?

Is there a torque rating for the new CV axel assy that I get?
Apparently Napa and Advance auto parts are the only ones with new assy - all others are reman.ed.
Napa is out of stock locally and advance auto parts has the following one.

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...7_841275607___

if the link is restricted - it is part number NCV36533 with specs "New; Left; Front; Torque Spec: 181 ft. lbs; Wrench Size: 36mm"

Should this be ok or do I wait for the Napa one to be available again?
thx again.
