i was wondering if anybody here has any idea whats going on with my 99 3.2tl ? i use this car to race on a 1/4 mile banked speedway it is a beast for a few laps (some times 10 to 12 laps but has done it in as few as 3 laps) i run it in 2nd gear only turn 5900 rpms then it will act like its in a limp mode or something, it will not turn over 3500 rpms till i turn the car off an start it back up then it does it again a few laps later . u can drive this car up an down the road never does it! i dont know where to start have tried a bunch of things but nothing works.if anybody has any ideas please let me know .. overheat the cat? correct about limp mode
CEL? codes?
cleaned you egr port system?

 

it has no cats, but cel is on i will take it an have it checked
to see what codes it has..Thanks
