60000 mile

Whats up guys, I am getting close to my 60,000 mile service and I am having my friend do the service. The stealership wants $864.00 for this. Yeah right!!!!!!!!! Anyway, my friend said all I have to do is get him the parts and he could do the service. Does anyone know what I will need for this?

You can always go to the dealership and ask the service rep for a description of what that service entails. Then take that tp your friend. If he knows what he is doing, he will be able to tell you all that you need to get for the service. You don't even have to tell the dealership why you want to know. It isn't their business. Or you can just say that you want to see what is involved when it is time to get it done. Any other questions do not need to be answered.

ok, I just got off the phone with open road acure of wayne, NJ. They quoted me a price of $714.90 for this 60,000 mile service. I spoke to them and asked what is included with that service.
They said, oil and filter change, check brakes(rotors, pads), top off all fluids, AC and engine air filter replacment, transmission flush, rotate and balance tires, tune up. and change spark plugs. Do you guys know if there is anything else that I need? Also should I just take my car to a certified honda acura specialist. I think that is to much for the things in the service!! I want to hear from people that have had this done already. Thanks

NO need for all that. I suggest change the filters yourself for $50.00, change oil for 20.00 and drain and fill tranny for 25.00. Nothing else is needed
