5th and reverse slipping only at operating temp.
This seems to be the opposite of what others mention as typical tranny failure.
shifts perfectly through all gears until operating temp is reached. Once reached, tranny acts as if in neutral when shifting from park to reverse. Only when reving the engine to about 3k rpm does the car go in reverse. No noise is heard at all from tranny. Same when shifting from 4th to 5th only after reaching op. temp.. Because the throttle is already applied, there is a loss of power and higher rev followed by a burst of power as the gear is engaged.
This was a sudden change, perfectly fine one day and problem the next. CEL, traction control and ABS light suddenly came on the moment it first started. Now only the CEL light is on. No blinking of 5D light.
Planning on having the code checked when I have a day off but thought I would through this out here in the mean time.

once again: the recall was to install an oil jet sprayer to 2nd gear,
need the codes or its just guessing with bad news
loose clutch material in torque convertor gets flung into the oil outlet screens and clogs them,,stopping or limiting trans operation
If you shut down and wait 30 minutes- trans returns to normal--thats likely your problem
you got a long life from 1 trans!!
