Under W.O.T in third 60mph-80 mph I get a sputter kind a like its misfiring lightly and only in 3rd gear to everything else is good. what do I need to do? I got alot of good info From some of the threads but still very confused on whats really the right part and part number the sensor. I have an appointment to bring it back to the dealership it was just at and that means another 120.00 diagnostics and another loan car but I cant spend that kind of money but I just spend 300.00 to get the pan replaced on top of that bills and rent is due so no way can I pay to fix it at this moment so Im kind of stuck til then.

 

Not sure what your question is as for the right part/part #? Are you talking about the 3rd gear solenoid?

 

Is there a difference between a oil pressure or 3Rd gear solenoid??

 

The tranny has 3rd and 4th gear pressure switches. Very easy to replace.

 

Ok thanks I looked at the diy, i turned the wheel i see the transmission is the sensors under a black cover peice

 

That's one of them. I would replace both, I believe I got them for like 40$ a peice.

 

Ok cool I think im going to order them are they amy differences between the 99 & 03 and the 3rd gen??? Either way i see the difference between the two numbers is the letter z and w. I will order once i get paid tgis suk having a messed up gear kinda doesnt feel to good I will see if this solves my accerlation issue

So I went to go get the parts today but just end up dropping it off for them to look at it. They got me in a 2012 TL this time and... Its not a sh but its fast I personally would want the sh 6 speed but I would get a auto so my family can drive it. I love my acura but I would sell it to get a new one now.

 

Ok they said its the engine mounts. And its searching for gears. I cany afford to do em so i just got the side one since they charge 120.00 so the ate gonna do the side mount and brake flush

 

Are* Ya I got to save some money so I can order mounts now. I might just get a orileys front enginne mount for now til I can afford it. Im sure im going to replace it with whatever I can get ahold of then when i modd I know which mounts to get
