2003 TL-S Giving Misfire and VTec codes

Im getting codes for misfire on cylinder 1,2 and a random misfire code. im also getting a code for vtec system failure. the car drives fine even when I get on it. that's what is throwing me off is that if it wasn't for the codes I wouldn't know anything was wrong with it so what do I need to do too fix this. Thanks guys

maybe vtec solenoid?
have you checked your oil level?
maybe coilpacks are bad?

Reset the ECU and see if the code comes back. The VTEC solenoid is just above the oil filter. You can pull off the connector and check resistance values to test. Chances are that the VTEC solenoid's filter is clogged. Maybe cleaning it, along with an oil change will resolve your CEL code.
