Posting again to correct location-
After winter when I turned on A/C first time on my 2003 TL S it did not work
I do not hear clicking noise when I turn on A/C.
I took it to the mechanic and he checked it and informed me that ECU is not sending out signal to energize A/C relay and that ECU needs replacement.
I would like to know how accurate his diagnosis is and whether this is a known issue?
ECU change and programming is as expensive as transmission replacement and I am very hesitant to do it

Sorry Nishant11m , just reading your post today. To my knowledge, ECU problems are quite rare, in the 2G TL models. If, indeed, it is a (RARE) faulty ECU, which is causing the A/C issue. Not certain where your Technician is getting his information, but a replacement ECU should not be all that expensive. You should be able to locate the correct part number, "ie" one that matches yours, for less than $75.00. An Acura Dealer, will normally charge, between one and two labor hours, to install, and program it.Originally Posted by nishant11
