My ABS and TCS lights came on at the same time and then my gages all went dead. Speedometer went to zero, gas gauge went to E. Car has new battery. If the alternator was going bad wouldn't I have seen the battery light come on. All ground wires seem OK. Any help would be appreciated.

 

you would think so, but how do you know that bulb didnt quit too?

can you get the car to a parts store and have the system tested?
what made you replace batt- age or prob starting?
the store didnt offer to test the car for you when done to be sure its all good- from wires to alt?

a bad alt or batt can take out the other as the car struggles to get you home
a bad batt can kill the alt by making it work overtime,, until batt was replaced

been some wire probs here recently- cars are 10 years old,,who knows how old those wires are!!
any crud buildup on connection or inside wire?

 

with low batt voltage you get many false codes, dont worry about those lights right now

you can clear and reset the ECU by removing the CLOCK fuse from passenger end of dash for a minute
