130K Maintenance

HI,

I have a 2000 TL with 130,000 miles. I want to keep the car going for as long as possible. Since I bought it in 2003 with 38K mi., it ran perfectly. At 100K I changed the timing belt and water pump, hoses and belts. Flushed the transmission fluid and radiator. What maintenance do you recommend? Thank you.

did you do the 120k service?, cause normally the 130k service is like an oil change and rotate, that's about it

but also changed the brake fluid, and power steering fluid cabin filter, air filter, if they have not been done recently

basically the same as the 60 and 90k lol and normally the tb is do at 105k (mine was done at 90k btw)

so i would do the brake fluid, and p/s fluid also

and have you also changed the plugs recently too
and cleaned out the EGR passages also, since they like to plug up over time on some people's cars

I am planning on cleaning the EGR port next, the car starts rough when it's cold. Another member advised me I don't need to replace the gaskets just reuse the old manifold gasket, is that a good advice?

How do i evacuate the PS fluid?

it's another side effect , but not the cause of it, it is more then likely carbon on the back the the valves causing that issue
