hey guys i have an 03 tl type s. tranny blew a few days ago. i am not covered by the class action suit warrenty. i was wondering what other trannys can i put into the car? any accord 5 speed autos? any third gen? i would like to widen my search. i am going to do the install myself. thanks for your help.

there s a couple threads on this. Im not 100% sure but a cl 6 speed and maybe an auto. also i heard a 3g will bolt right up. plus there rumors about the odessey and mdx trannys too. I personally would go with the cl 6 speed!!!!

it ending up costing me 800 for a tranny at acura. they said it was 4800 but they are covering 80% because of the low milage. has a 3 year /36,000 warranty also.

I got screwed on my tranny blowing, cause it ended up dying IN the parking lot of Acura. They had it for ransom lol. It cost me $3100 to replace...keep in mind this would be my THIRD tranny in the car. I'm cursed
