'03 TL-S ABS/VSA lights on

Hi, my ABS and VSA lights came on a couple of months ago while driving and the dealer has been unable to figure it out. The car throws a DTC 33-1, which points to a front left inlet solenoid valve failure in the ABS module, but swapping the whole unit out for a brand new one didn't resolve anything. The dealer is scratching his head. For a car that's never had any problems, it doesn't make sense, at least that's what they're telling me. At this point, all the dealer can think of is maybe a bad wire/wiring harness somewhere. Can anyone suggest a course of action? I'm already into them for several hundred dollars of labor and, with no clear way to diagnose the problem, I need to decide when enough is enough. By the way, the car was purchased in 2002, has 96k miles, and has been well maintained. Thanks.
