Hi, I am trying to figure out how much a tune up is going to run me for my 2003 Acura TL. I am currently deployed with pretty crappy internet. Thought maybe someone could tell me how much a tune up would cost me instead of trying to call back and having to deal with communication problems. I did my timing belt, and valve adjustment prior to leaving. I am going to be driving half way across the country when I get back, and shortly after I will be heading over to Germany. I want to make sure my car is up and running great before leaving. I didnt have any problems with it really before I left, and have been having someone drive it around from time to time since I have been gone. It has 106,000 miles on it. I baby my car as much as I can, but it has been a while since the radiator, and tranny fluid change. Any other thoughts on what I should have done to it, and maybe cost estimates.

 

I can't think of anything other than spark plugs and filters that you would need to do. Hopefully you replaced the accessory belts and water pump when you did the timing belt.

Have you ever cleaned the EGR ports? (Possible when you had the intake off for the valve adjustment)

 

Not to sure about the EGR ports, but I believe I did get the water pump replaced prior to leaving. Its just been a while cant remember for sure unless I look at the paperwork back home. Thank you though I was curious if there was anything that people recommended to do that I didn't know about. Thanks again though I appreciate the help.
