I own an 02 tl (not type-s) and I just had a rebuilt tranny put in it. I had the torque converter replaced, all the screens cleared of solenoid metal, basically 3rd gear had to be rebuilt. Now my car shifts great and third gear hits pretty hard but thats normal for the rebuild. I was leaving my parking space and my engine was cold. I drove about 150 feet to the stop sign at the end of my street and made a complete stop. As I was stopping I heard a couple of ticks and when I tried to accelerate from a dead stop my rpms rose up but my car didn't move. Basically it felt as though I was in neutral but I was in D5. I called the place that did my tranny and they think it might be my fluid levels but I wanted to get some advice on what you guys think it might be? Please help

 

Something is wrong. Since it was just rebuilt id bring it back. It may be something as simple as fluid level, or a solenoid(technically they should replace the solenoids in rebuilds, its better than cleaning)
