02-03 fixing fogged headlights

i read a few diy threads and personal experiences about de-fogging headlights, but all the pics ive seen are the 99-01 models. is there really an issue with sanding off a coating on the 02-03 heads that cause them to re-fog quickly? is there anything that works? ive seen the defogger all-in-one, but didnt want to buy it.

theres gotta be someone out there thats done it. i have no idea why, but the driverside is really bad, the passenger is fine.

btw, has anyone purchased the replacement headlights off ebay? theyre not oem and theyre about $80 per side. shitty quality or good to use?

I wetsanded my 02 heads about 4 months ago and followed a DIY on here for a 99 i believe and came out fine. i also applay a coat of wax and polish to them when i wash my car just to keep them protected and pretty.

"De-fogging headlights"- would seem to mean you have condensation inside the HL housing- No amount of sanding is going to cure that. You must mean oxidized plastic on the outer SURFACE of HL.

I bought one 2 weeks ago off ebay for about $80 and cannot tell a difference between it and my factory one.
