’00 TL “shudders” or hesitates when going about 20-30 mph.
I am not sure what is wrong, all of a sudden my car is running rough and shudders intermittently. It feels a little like a when a car is about to stall out but it doesn’t..Doesn’t seem to do it when going over 30 mph. Anyone have any ideas? I am taking it to the dealer this weekend to see if it is the transmission, I understand the transmission is under warranty for 7 years and time is about running. If that is not it, could it be fuel injectors or a tune-up. Any comments would be appreciated, please don’t be too technical, I am a woman with no real knowledge of cars

Happens to me also ... Only happens every once and a while and of course the dealer can't replicate it. They have already replaced the EGR valve anyone have any idea's

Is the check engine light on? It kinda sounds like a misfire - although most people feel misfires in low gear (i.e. 1 and 2) and lockup (which wouldn't explain the "don't feel it over 30 mph" thing).

it will throw out the CEL soon, and thats when it get really rough, this happened to my 99 tlp when the misfires came. ran sluggish for 2 weeks then on a red light, bam CEL and very sluggish........i duno what to say, try changing plugs asap......or wait for it to throw out codes.

Mine has been doing this for well over a year ..
But it is very infrequent some days it might do it a few times while sometimes it will go a week or more without any problem..
