Ok, the reason I asked if you sanded is because I want to plasti dip the chrome around the windows; but I don't want to sand it down in case i want to peel it off later.

About the Carbon Fiber emblem, I would'nt put anything carbon fiber on the exterior or interior of my car. I don't think that belongs on this type of car. I guess I would have to see it on your car.

I also had my clock light go out, but I banged the console and it came back.

No need to sand anything when using plastidip. My chrome has been coated since March/April.

Mine was past the banging point, my sunroof switch light comes back on when I bang it, that is how my pinkey finger went through the vent though. I snapped the switch back in and then bashed it and broke the surround for the fins

thats the last time I try to do anything to my car after 3 redbull/vodkas, one SoCo lime, and 4 Icehouse

I'm going to plastidip my chrome window trim too after I order new clips. They're about $10 for 15 of them on ebay. It's much easier and cleaner to do with the trim off, but the clips are junk and snap easily.

Im jealous that you 4 doors can pull the trim off easily. I have to remove the rear window to get the trim off

These are for the trim on the body of the car, the ones for the door I'm not sure of but they didn't break when I did the trim on my Accord so maybe they're a bit more sturdy.

Well I decided to rip up my old headlights out of boredom, Its pretty easy when they're already out...bout 30 minutes including 7 min bake time if you have a dremel to grind down that stupid torx screw. Its going to be a bit before I finish anything since I didnt plan on doing this. I have no paint..lol.I'm thinking about black housing but leaving the corner clear, doing yellow high beam housings with some translucent duplicolor, and doing something different with the reflectors....maybe blacking out part of them and leaving the rest in some sort of nice shape or perhaps wrapping them in carbon fiber would be cool. Just trying to do something that hasn't been done. I'll probably get some 5-6k bulbs as well.

Im all for blacking out the lights. But please, dont paint the high beam area. Just get Nokya yellows. Less then $20 for the pair.

already have em, you can only see them at weird angles though. These headlights suck, I barely touch masking tape to them and little dots of chrome come off. I read that the brand of masking tape matters, but I think the chrome is just weaker in certain areas. I may paint the signal housings WDP if I take this tape off and all the chrome is gone I ordered some DI-NOC carbon to wrap the reflectors in.

I've always liked yellow housings..i thought they were great on my accord. I think they work well with white/black cars

Its highly unlikely that you'll find any tape that wont pull the chrome off, unless they are new buckets. The only that Ive found that actually works is post-it notes.

Damn, hopefully it wont be enough to see through the ridges on the headlight cover, if not, the tape I used is white and looks pretty cool so I may just color match the housing to the car. It should look good next to the clear coated DI-NOC...if I dont like them I'm sure someone will buy em LOL.

Ordered some Function Forms today, putting the sway bar on now, and took of the sides and rear lip. Got tired of the two tone so I'm just going to slam it with a black plastidip front lip. I want to adjust the preloads slightly for a firmer ride. anyone with Function forms have advice on a good setting without a terrible ride? Pics up of everything when the coils are on.

I'm fairly low with still the stock preloads. Seems to be holding up just fine. It's firm enough to hit corners hard yet comfortable enough so you don't get annoyed.

Factory settings are supposed to be stiff already. Ive had bad luck with them so be careful if you plan on adjusting the preload.

The only reason I considered it was to avoid hitting my control arms on the shock tower. Can you tuck tire without hitting them frequently with stock preloads? The sway bar already made my rear end feel much more stiff and I plan on getting one for the front as well. I'd like to avoid tooth shattering stiffness but don't feel like slapping the UCA's all the time either. Here's how she sits with just the front lip after the sway install, I suppose it looks cleaner this way.

Yeah you can tuck tire without hitting the control arms. It'll take some trial and error to figure out what height though. I forget the measurements.

First set height, not sure if these things settle much. probably go 1/4 lower next weekend. Tell ya what though, these things don't ride too well..the rears are bouncy. Preload is still stock, maybe I should tighten the rear a bit? Washed the grease of of my car when I finished and then it rained 10 minutes after....story of my life!

Thanks, I really need to get a camera. I enjoy taking pictures but my utensils are so terrible that they can't capture a damn thing. I switched from my phone camera to my wife's pink piece of doody and hit up a parking garage. The results were crap but better than nothing I suppose!

Well, the car isn't going to get raised in the rear because I like how she shits, but the front is going lower. Unfortunately I rub my fender liners so the bitches have to go, but my Intake filter wont like that very much. Also, new mounts are coming when My Paypal is up. So with some help from you guys and some tax money:

Yeah, thats my solution for now but until these motor mounts get hear it scares me so ill keep it down sometimes to make sure nothing is being destroyed. If i hit the throttle a little too hard the whole motor goes CLUNK! I figured I may as well change my belts while I'm doing all of this shit so I grabbed the Option racing crank pulley. Next up, A bunch of DW1 trans fluid and a shit load of seafoam. Damn, I wanted some visors

goes well wiuth the whole black n white scheme

Motor mounts done, tranny mounts done, Ingalls torque dampner done, DW1 done, fender liners trimmed, Icebox installed and front lowered more and a nice wash. Underdrive pulley going on this weekend and then pics! It drives like a champ now.

Very Nice!

I don't think my motor mounts have ever been replaced, but i changed them a couple of months ago. What a difference.

My transmission is leaking so i just picked up some DW-1 from the Acura dealership in Charlotte. I haven't changed that fluid in the 7 years I've owned that car since I was a bit scared of the transmission dying on me if I changed it. I'm forced to change it now so we'll see what happens.
