Talking The World Premier Of My Hooked Up 99TL (56K WARNING! 32 Pics)

Well, After 1 year of planning and gathering everything i wanted to put on my TL, it finally all went on in ONE SHOT two days before X-MAS Eve. Rims+Tires/OEM KIT/Coilovers+Alignment+Camber Adjustment/02-03 Tail Lights/Painted Brake Calipers/Cold Air Intake/LED's. Yes there are a few other things i want but i have finally gotten the car where i wanted it to be. DAMN AM I LOVING EVERY MINUTE I SPEND WITH MY WHIP! SICK WIT IT!

Thanks to everyone who helped me out on this forum or gave me greatly appreciated info on various mods etc. Without this forum, my TL wouldnt be where it is today

The camera i used is a NIKON D100 Digital Camera. I believe its like 6-Megapixels and you can take really really high quality pics with it by selecting the Quality setting as a TIFF or JPEG FINE. The highest quality setting you can take them at is RAW, but that only lets you take a very small amount of pics because the file size is HUMUNGO. I did most of them in TIFF and JPEG Fine. TIFF is still friken a big file size but super clear pics and there big enough to print out a poster size of it LMAO. The sad part though is that i borrowed this camera from my dad's friend in exchange for some photo shop help (teaching him). He'll let me borrow it whenever but thats what we worked out. Can't beat that LOL. My main thing though is VIDEO. Thats what im going to school for and thats what i seem to be talented in. Wait till you see the video im workin on at the moment for my TL. Gona be sick. Cameras ill be using for my vid are actually mine. 3CCD Cameras and Bogen Tripod etc. Anyways, that explains it all.

Yes im running a full set of coilovers. NOT SPRINGS. Im droped on TEIN SUPER STREET COILOVERS. No way, i wouldnt drop it anymore then what it is already at. If i go lower ill just cause myself frustration with speed bumps, parking garages, dips in the road etc. Right now i have had no problems with speed bumps or parking garages. ITS PERFECT. Don't get me wrong, a TL slammed on coilovers is hot but id do that only if i used my TL for show only. I drive my TL to school 2 times a week. 25miles to school and 25 back. Thats 50miles each time i go to school and a 100 miles a week on school alone plus any other near by driving i do. It kills me when im driving on the highway and fucken dump trucks are just leaking dirt etc, out the corner cracks and its blowing on every car behind it just fuckin my shit up. That makes me want to not keep putting more money into it. Anyways, this should answer your question and how i feel about dropin the car more.

Great pics
I bought my kit from a local acura dealership for about $1,000. Yes maybe i was ripped and i know the dealers are a rip but thats what they charge you man if you want it directly from them painted. I ordered it in january of 2005 and like i said, i kept it in box till just this past week before XMAS when i put everything on at once. Plus, i hadnt discovered acurazine yet back then so i didnt know shit. Thats why i credit everyone on this forum that helped me out and shit because without this forum my TL wouldnt be where it is today. The wack part about ordering that kit was that they only had the front and back lip is SSM. The sides he had to order in white. So i had to actually take the sides to their body shop where i payed a guy there on the side like 200 to repaint them in the stock SSM Acura Paint. That kinda sucked but whatever. These kits are rare and i new that was the first thing i needed to order since they dont manufacture them anymore. Hope this answers your question.

Ordered the pedals from Autovation. Here's the exact link to the page where you can select the type of finish on the pedals and order them.

Thanks alot! umm, i got the pedals from Autovation. Here is the exact link to the page to order them. http://www.autovationparts.com/store/acuracl.html
The paint i used on the calipers is the same paint i used on my Engine cover and battery cover. I used Dupli color High Temp paint. The blue one. That was the only color shade of blue i wanted to use. No other brand out there or type had the right shade of blue i was looking for. No, my calipers are not powder coated. I actually took my time on them. Cleaned them real good with a wire brush, rinsed, sanded, rinsed again, dried and sprayed two even coats on. Bagged the rotor, took the break pads and metal clips out of the caliper completely and then painted them. Im detailed some what. I dont do things half ass like some of the calipers ive seen in person on other cars. Anyways, hope this answers your questions.

Well, im not the kind of person to throw shit on one thing at a time and drive around like that. I THINK THAT SHIT IS WACK, thats just my Id rather drive stock for that one period of time and then go from an ugly duckling to a SWAN in ONE SHOT overnight. Then when everyone sees it, the WOW FACTOR IS JUST QUADRUPLED! What i did though was prep the car for the big day when it was all goin on by doin the little cheap mods first such as mesh grill, shift plate chromed, led's, and brake calipers happened a week before everything went on at once. Get me. I know most people cant wait like i do. But im patient and i strongly believe that patience is a virtue. LOL.
