Winter/Summer Rubber

Car is going in for summer rubber next week. Stock Micheleins are being replaced by Toyo Proxes T1-S on stock TL rims.
The winter tires I purchased back in Nov. were also Toyo. A fantastic winter tire. The snow prox 950. Fantastic handling and great in the ice and snow.

Is anyone else currently running T1-S's 215/50/17's on stock rims?
What pressure do you run front/rear?

What type of rims do you have? Are you using stock TL Type S rims?
If so, the 225/45/17's are not recommended.
Also 38 PSI seems very high. I realize max. pressure is 40 psi. However, once hot, your tires will probably run 42 psi? Must ride like a tank at those pressures??

Yep, I'm running stock TLS rims that are only 6.5 inches wide. Toyo recommends atleast a 7 inch rim for their 225 tires but they still fit with no problems. Many other members in the forum are also running 225's if not more on their stock TLS rims.

In terms of pressure...the max pressure for the Toyo T1-S's are 50 psi...so I'm not scared to run 38.

I hope this helps.
