what do you think of my grill?

i made this a few weeks ago cause i was bored, wondering what you guys think of it and if you had any input on color of the chrome trim, mech, or grill, it's not a final design, still needs more sanding and a real coat of paint, but i'm gonna keep it like this for now.

also if anyone made anything similar post our pics, interested to see how others have it, i havent browsed this forum in awhile so i'm not sure what been done.

I'm diggin it. Its like a bigger version of the Mugen grille for the 00-01 TL.

Different, and a little aggresive look.

Good job on the mesh But, I have to agree with some of the others, it definitely looks like something is missing in there. Kind of just looks like a big gaping hole.

thanks for the comments, i agree it looks empty, i'm not sure what kinda badge want...i also put a crease in the middle of the grill to match the hood and bumper, so it's gonna be hard getting a badge back in the middle...maybe get like acura or 3.2tl offset on the side

I would suggest adding a floating Acura symbol somehow. I believe there is a Mugen grill out that has a floating A that looks pretty sick. Solid clean mod though imo

the best way to solve the missing look, use a set of grills that will stand out in color wise, maybe chrome or silver, so that when you look at it, you'll see "SOMETHING" there, instead of a black "hole".

or, you can put your grill on the OUTside, instead of the inside. something like this

try putting it that way, if you don't like how it looks then maybe you could add the A emblem on. i think it'll look cleaner w/o the A emblem

Thanks for clearing that up Justin ....yup, both ABP pics are my car.

Death......Nice photoshop (removing the chrome "wing").....but I think it still looks too empty even with an emblem there. The 99-01 grill looks good with the open space because of its size (smaller opening).

I have to give credit to Malayee King for actually passing the pic on to me. I don't think it's a p-shop. He just painted the crome pieces to match the car. I wish I could find a place that sells these grill's because I would pick one up in a second.
