Just another one of my annoying updates. However I am happy to see this today because finally it seems like I am beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel!!!
Big ups to Tar Heel Auto Body in Wake Forest, NC for the body work. One of the big things for me was the fiberglass molding of the front license plate on the front bumper. The thing looked hideous, and since we in NC don't require front plates, I decided it certainly needed to go. The body shop did it flawlessly....I was really worried about it too.
NO, it's not on the car yet. I wont' put it on until I get the wheels...hopefully soon. Sooo, for now the thing stays put at the shop. BTW, there is NO wax or anything on the bumper yet, and it still has yet to be cleaned up. So be nice.
I didnt' take pics of the side skirts or the rear skirt, however they look equally as good.
"I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it...."

Mike they haven't had my car handy to do any test fitting. However I couldnt' wait the day after they shipped into Raleigh so I pretty much put it in without the permanent bolts.
It was a tight fit, to be honest. I know it'll fit fine, but it'll be a stretch. A little playing with the exhaust pipes might be necessary in order to get it all the way on. It looked pretty good...I just wish I could put it back up there now that it's SSM.
And yes....the wait is very hard. But I'm 3 months and counting now, so I'm getting better at it!!

Ok tommy here it goes:
Value Sports front bumper. I can't remember but I THINK i remember it being somewhere around $525 or so. Now add in approximately $110 for the Inspire fogs and switch.
Shipping is something else entirely. I believe i payed somewhere in the neighborhood of $500 for shipping. To be sure on all above costs, you should talk to Mike. (valuetl)....excellent business man! Thanks Mike!
BlackShadow....nah man I only took two pics while I was at the body shop. They have my kit until my wheels come in. THEN I will certainly take MAD pictures, bro!

I forgot all about that Neil...I'm dumb as a brick.
Plus tommy...remember that the bumper comes with that big fat blockish looking thing on the front for the japanese spec plate. It won't even fit our front plates without re-drilling. In order to get rid of that, you will still need to get custom fiberglass work done. That's not cheap either...lemme tell you.

hey dude we might could arrange a TL Raleigh meet sometime when it gets warmer. I'm sure we could get a few, enough to make it worth while.
I keep seeing this REAL nice hooked up White TL in Raleigh....but dangit I'm always going the opposite way from him and can't catch up to him. He's on 19" chrome, factory body kit, looks like 6000K hid's.......I'll speak to him one day.
Once I got parts on and it gets nice and warm we'll arrange something, bro. I know there's a few of us on here!!!

I think I've seen the white TL you're talking about. It had racing wheels though with cleared headlights, but is wasn't dropped. It been a while so maybe they've had more work done since I've last seen it.

That's the only TL I've seen around here fixed up until recently. Lately I've seen another white TL with factory kit, dropped with Comptech exhaust, and a silver TL with factory kit lowered. Neither one of them have wheels yet though. We definitely ought to meet up sometime when it gets nice and sunny and WARM again!!!!
