lmao.. i went 1cm lower on all 4 sides.. and damn i am slammed. i couldnt really have a test drive.. scrape and bottom out everywhere.. i hit my cat like 3 times already just going straight .. am i gonna raise it? nahhhhh.

lowered it some more
lowered the car about 1cm all around. did minor fender work by myself too.. also rotated my tires. now i bottom out even more.. my cat seems like it's the lowest point of the car. ouchh!
and if you guys were wondering.. a soda can barely clears my front lip, right in the middle of the lip tho (goes in half way). idk if thats supposed to be low or not. what about you guys with 02-03's ?

I was so low with mine ,my sub frame sat 1 finger off the ground standing still.I banged and scraped everywhere.
I backed up on my grass and ripped my front bumper half way off the whole front. (with no lip)
Then I still didn't raise it.
Then broke the cat and it was over ,I started comming back up.
I ended up spending 800 getting a new bumper and having it painted. Well I bought 2 because the seller did not contact me for 3 weeks and the car was ready to get painted ,I got one from someone else.
bad return policy with the first one so I got stuck with that one .
Cat got smashed
Then I bought a cat,resonator,and had it piped in for around 500.
1300 of damage being low,Lesson learned for me,I started comming back up.
And all this was after cutting holes in my strut towers,cutting the tab off the upper arms and moving over the bracket for brake lines,and rolling the fenders.
And these damages were pretty much back to back.
If I go super low again it's going to be on air struts so I can lay it down and drive sensible.

^haha. well this is the lowest i've ever been. this is also the lowest i can go without any/minor fender work done. i'll eventually go lower once my fenders are completely rolled. this is low enough already for daily driving.

being low looks great..
but these cars are still on the "nice" list as far as im concerned.. most people prefer not to ride around in their nice car banging their bumpers and undercarriage on things..
you give me a ek hatch.. its gonna be dragging frame.. but not the TL..

+1. thats one of the reason why people dont wanna slam their TL's. cause cmon.. throughout this whole forum, and let alone the 2g section itself, how many of us are really slammed? not much if you think about it. if all of us were slammed like that.. we'd see more threads in the "problems and fixes" section. but yeah.. driving slammed is a bitch.. you gotta be more cautious about what roads you take and if you can make it up this or that driveway. you gotta be prepared to brake for the next dip or bump .. etc.

and I'd take pics if it wasn't a god damn hurricane season here in upstate new york.
has been rainy or mucky for the last 2 weeks :-(
Though in my rim painting DIY (which no one commented on...) I put some pics of the HR race's and whatnot so i promise i'm being legit :-)
