trying to post pics
Sim I have a picture of my car in a file, and I hit "browse" at the bottom of our post reply page and I see stuff like C:\Kodak Pictures..... in the box, then the little blue fill up line (thats what I call it) goes for awhile until finished but no pics end up anywhere. Any help would be appreciated!
Hi Chuck,
Are your pics within the max size limit? The max size allowed is 102400 bytes. If they are not you can try resizing it and trying again.
An alternative would be to upload your pics to a website, and then linking it from there. You can link the image by pressing the IMG button and entering the URL of the images you uploaded. The IMG button can be found when you reply to a post, you'll see it in the set of panels above the reply textbox.
There are many sites that allow you to store your pics on the web for free. Just can't think of any off my head. I'm sure alot of these guys can help you with that.
Hope this helps. Can't wait to see the pics .

To post a picture from your hard drive, do what Moo said and make sure it is within the size limit. I try to limit mine to 50K. Your "C:\Kodak Pictures" program should have a function to resize pictures. Saving them as a .jpg file is best, too. Just hit 'browse', find the picture you want from your hard drive, click ok (or whatever your computer has). One thing that is very important... do NOT "Preview Reply". That doesn't work, unless they have changed it. I hope that helps.
Oh, and if you want a nice free site to put your pictures online, Sony has www.ImageStation.com. I like it.
