Haha I know about the "leak" Z3ro, it's a missing gasket in the pipe to the driver's side canister (mentioned it already in the thread). I will be replacing that soon.

Cheers Darkside. I personally think it looks best on your car. It really fits the exhaust cutouts on the TSX. On the 3G TL it fits quite well also. However, I find that there are better looking options for the 3G (ie: ATLP quad tip exhaust).

My only fitment issue is getting the driver's side canister to tuck under the exhaust cutout because at the moment it's sitting more towards the center of the rear by a couple inches (because it was designed for the narrower end of the CL).

So the pipes from the CL fit perfectly on ur TL, they were just a little short?

lol holy shit 4.5"??? Doesn't sound bad, but to me it doesn't fit the TL image. What's the size of the piping?

I've recently had the tips tucked, had to heat-bend the drivers side piping to the canister to have it sit properly. I also put in that final gasket so it sounds better.

It's a 2.5" full catback exhaust that is designed for the CL but can bolt right up to the TL with no modification needed (other than a little bending to tuck the tips). It's not really that much shorter and I like that it sits right under the bumper since the tips are so huge.

I'll try and post new pictures to show you how much better it looks with tucked tips.
I like to run something different and I've grown used to how ridiculous and aggressive it looks. Seriously though, the sound is what really does it for me. I love it. And it was all free so why not.

there are a bunch of members selling the Evo II for the 3G TL. I hope it'll bolt up pretty easily. maybe there will be a TL weaponised 2 thread soon...

^^ highly unlikely.

the 2G CL and 2G TL are almost the same car with many interchangeable parts.. the 3G TL is a totally different car with VERY few interchangeable parts..

^^ that kinda sucks. i guess it'll need a good amount of custom work done. although i kinda recall Josh saying they built the ATLP for the 2G off the of the 3G. could be wrong

well.. the 3G ATLP came out first and it sold pretty well so they probably figured it would be the same for the 2G. that may have been what he meant i could be wrong?

however, we reversed the bend from the rear to the front. or i think it was vise versa.. but yea...

to OP.. you'd probably have to change the flange due to ours being a smaller size and possibly the hanger positions

New pictures from a crappy camera. This is a top a hill overlooking my city. It's winter, cold, and the best I can do to keep her clean is spray wash her.

Here's a few shots to show you how it looks with the tips sitting 1 finger away from the bumper cutouts so as not too close to melt them.

^^ ya, i'm thinking about saving a little money and getting the HKS super drager. it's designed for a TL/Accord so should be easy to install myself as opposed to custom work at a shop

Thanks Myron. I know I mentioned organizing a meet this past summer but my car wasn't totally done to my liking to show off yet. I think this spring will be a perfect time to meet everyone and enjoy a bbq at Hawrelak.

Forget the ATLP in this case haha, I agree with you 100%..a free exhaust why not? Now it doesn't even look that bad and with the lip it'll be perfect. It's not like you'll be crying at the cans, you're going to be inside mashing the pedal just to hear it growl. On top of that, I've seen worse rice cans than that haha..good choice bro

yea I'd be down to meet up and see some nice TLs. I know there are some nice ones in the city. By then I should have some rims too so I won't be embarased to show up in my stock TL (besides a mild drop) haha also i wanna clear out my headlights and paint or vinyl wrap my roof black.

do you have any experience clearing out the lights? I may need some help in the spring when I do mine. I only did it once but on a VW golf. But those are cheap and fucking up is not that big of a deal like on a TL.

I have no experience with that application, but I think that by following a diy one could easily do it. It's MUCH simpler to pop off those orange reflectors than it is to properly paint them black or body color or what have you. It's all about heating up the sealant properly to open the housing without damaging it.

yea I am scared of heating them up. Like I said I did it before so I know what needs to be done, I just don't wanna mess up. If you need help when ever you deside to do this, let me know, 2 heads are better than one haha I was also thinking of getting a spare set of headlights but that would be costly too.
