I have a 03 tl and I want to redo the tinting since I bought the car tinted already it looks old to me. Ive been driving around the tl for almost 3 years now and I want to redo the tints but I want to go darker than what I have (35%).

Can anyone put up pics of 20% and below how does it look on our car?

You will find couple 2nd Generation TL that has 20%

i have 20% back and 35% front, will be perfect for your comparison

 

Kinda sucky pics but you get the idea. I would advise against 35%. I tint as a side job and ppl come back all the time saying they got stopped for tints when they have 35%. 35% plus the little bit of tint the glass has on it from factory always bring down the reading to any where between 28-32% which is already illegal. even if you have paper work from the tintshop or tint manufacturer. Might as well go 20 all around

 

this doesn't help much but here's mine, just took it outside my office today 3/2/13

i have 26% sides and 35% rear--since i always get tailed by po all day everyday i decided to put the 35% rear so they'll back off
