Angry Such bad luck...

Alright so previous to this when i first bought my wheels they had tires on them already, so i just thought, ill run them for this summer then change them out since the condition wasnt the greatest. bad idea, the one tire wouldnt hold air and got about 3 flats in a month.

So i bought some used rims and tires and just switched the tires over, perfect tread life, but old tires. Just to my luck, on a trip to Rochester 2 days ago, this shit happens..

Such bad luck...-flattire.jpg Such bad luck...-flat-tire-2.jpgSuch bad luck...-flat-tire-3.jpg

We ended up going home and taking the CL for our trip, and then some guy bumps the car while parking. My parents werent gonna say anything because there was no damage but i called him over and he acted like nothing even happened. So heres me, a 17 year old preaching to him about common courtesy and all he says is "i said sorry" . so my dads like "just drive forward and fuck up his transmission" then the guy just walked away. The only reason is he didnt care is because he drove a focus

Why would you want to mess up his car? Just take down his insurance information and get a check to get it fixed. Then you can either pocket the check or use it for something else if the bump isnt that bad

IMO, messing with his car will just lead to more problems later on for you if he contacts police, etc

And THAT is the reason why you dont buy used/old tires. As for the accident, should've forced him to give you cash, going through insurance for what less than 100 dollars of an accident isnt worth it. Just make him fork over cash or "threaten" to go through insurance.

If we wanted to mess up his car we would have.. my dad was saying that just because the guy was a dick. there wasnt any damage to get fixed..

tread was perfect and i bought the rims and tires for a good price, can probabaly sell the rims and make my money back, so basically free tires. I knew the risks, just this time it got me back. And there was no damage, no point in doing anything, its the fact that if you bump someones car, scratch or not, especailly a nice one, man up to it. If the guy apologized right away and checked for damage instead of saying it never happened i wouldnt have cared. thats all im getting at

Sounds like a horrible weekend. Hope you get the tire/wheel situation fixed.
