Agree with the rest. Car looks good but needs a lower drop and honda access visors. The weathertech one looks funny in the back.

Thanks guys for all the comments! I have the grille that needs to be installed still and the rear window spoiler. Those should be on this weekend! The brakes I painted blue to not be like everyone else with red....a bit more understated. As far as the window visors......I guess for some reason my practicality came to play my cost on the Weathertechs were $37.00 instead of the $200 for Honda Access. So I will keep the WeatherTechs on the car.
I wish I could lower my car more......but it would make it too impractical to drive around here on these rough roads and steep inclines!

Good job putting it all together in a short time. Car looks great.
Are those wheels a new design? What is the offset and width?

No, wheels are old school TSW......I think they were 2001 or 2002 release.
They are 19x8 +40 offset.......which is pretty aggressive for 2G TL!

Wow that's gorgeous man! The kit and wheels look great

I would have done the brake calipers black though. The blue looks out of place compared to the rest of the car. Just my of course.

hey, i just got a set of 19x8 +40 tsw vairano....havn't mounted them yet, but i was wondering how much your car is lowered, front & rear, and what are the specs of your tires. i am trying to get an idea of how these are going to mount up, and how much i can drop it. did you cut the rear tabs or roll the rear fenders at all?

Car is lowered 1.5 inches front and rear. I did have to shave the rear fender some, not much. My tires are 245-35-19

so i might be in better shape than you with the rubbing, cuz my tires are 235/35...and i just noticed that we both have the nexen tires!! i don't care what anyone else say's...your car looks clean, exactly what i'm going for. i'm gonna leave mine with no rear spoiler though. i like the headlights with the full clear look, i wouldn't blackout the headlights if i were you. i think the height of your car is perfect also...practical, yet sporty & stylish. it's funny cuz i had so many wheel shops tell me these wouldn't fit, that they would stick out too much, and that i definately wouldn't be able to lower it without MAJOR body work. well, the proof is in the pudding right here, they are all wrong!! alot of people on this forum talk about them not working too...go figure!! A+++ from me! thanks for the reply!

one other question....you say you have comptech springs, but i can't seem to find them for sale anywhere. did you get them for a honda accord v6 application?

Actuallly, they are for the 01-03 CL and TL but have been long discontinued. I was able to score this set from a local Acura Dealer that had them in stock, and got them CHEAP!!! The Accord V6 application will work as they are identical. thanks for the props and comments! Yes, the Nexxen tires are a great bang for the buck and ride and handle quite well.

The UniChip is a piggyback ECU that you have programmed with the upgrades you have done to the car like exhaust, headers, intake, pulleys etc. You have 2 programs, standard and extreme. Both are different fuel maps that boost maximize on the upgrades you have done to the car. With all things added, probably adds another 10-12HP to the car......to some is negligable, to others its a big deal. Seat of the pants, to me there is a difference. Plus, you can also just turn it off with the flip of a switch for emissions and smog testing without having to completely unplug everything! Its a neat deal. New they are about $600 but you can usually find them on here for sale.....for a pretty good deal and have them reprogammed to what you have! I hope this helps

Pros:
- Wings west kit looks great on black
- Aggressive old school TSWs fit beautifully and look sick
- Reasonable drop, good looking (I understand the shit roads situation all too well)
- Exhaust fits rear perfectly IMO and the lip spoiler flows well with the WW rear

Cons (improvements):
- New grill looks like an elementary kid with his teeth missing (way to improve: change emblem as mentioned, paint chrome hood piece black, maybe elevate emblem somehow to be flush with tips of grill)
- Could use a debadge to smooth out the rear (I need to too)
- At least clear the orange side marker reflectors in the headlights
- Weathertech visor bulge in the rear does look a tad goofy.

Overall, fantastic looking "original" TL. I'd be happy with it myself.
