some progress on the TL

Whats up guys, just thought I'd post some pictures of the car since its had some recent changes.
I put new suspension on, blacked out the headlights, put on an MDX steering wheel and painted the airbag cover black to match.
The wheels are going soon, being replaced by 04-08 a-spec wheels in 18x8

I am not feeling the rims too much, but overall the car is clean! I like the wood steering wheel, I got one too.

cant slam it with the streets like they are around me, i have enough trouble with it like it is now. although it is an option since the coilovers are adustable.

Your car looks great man

And that's an awesome job on the steering wheel! I'm not brave enough to attempt that haha

Look great, i love that steering wheel I might take a look into that, it'll defiantly solve my problem of the leather coming off do to rubbing. Plus my airbag cover is also a different color then my steering or inside of my car, didn't know what I should use to paint it, now I do... thanks!

As you mentioned it, I notice it's a lot "cleaner" or brighter, not sure though if it's cause of the sun.

steering wheel was around $100 shipped, brand new. it is made for the mdx but the wood grain matches perfectly.

it is a shade off, the front bumper is original to the car and the pearl has started to yellow with the age, thus not matching the new(er) lip kit, I'm considering getting the bumper painted to match it better but really cant justify it right now.

and its not really hard to put on, you've gotta be patient though and have a steering wheel puller to remove the wheel from the hub. also new airbag screws are necessary whenever you remove the airbag

maybe a nice claybar and wax job would get the whites to match back to normal....

^ x2....I wonder if the MDX beige wheel matches my beige airbag.

Thanks for the info on the woodgrain. That was one of the things holding me back. Wasn't sure if it matched perfectly.

its pretty good, the fronts are set at 3 which is pretty comparable to the rears which are not adjustable, so the firmness is pretty uniform all around.

ive got the rear ground controls, but the adjusting nut is cross threaded on the sleeve and the people from ground control wont return any of my emails or phone calls so i cant get them fixed, otherwise i would have those on.
