small weekend DIY project

Not sure if Iwill keep them this way or not. I may need to clear the headlamps before I make my final choice. Pretty simple mod to add a little more elegance to the TL.

Thoughts? or ?

Meh, think it looks out of place on the silver. Chrome looks better.

I did the same about 5 months ago. I used a darker/deeper yellow and did about 2 layers of it. It was nice at night but when day came, it didnt look so great during the day.... too much yellow showing.

I think it would be great to have deep yellow fog lights but I dont think the yellow film is the way to go. It really clashes with the SSM IMO.

i dont like the way it looks during the day. at night with the lights on, im sure it looks good.

there are 3000k HID's now that give off yellow light without the need of any film.

I contemplated doing this ... yellow fogs / blue paint combo (also matches my calipers). But then my friend said, "Doesn't Hyundai have yellow fogs?" just as a Hyundai Accent rolls by with the yellow fogs. I ended up not doing it.

Anyway ... I don't know if it really works with SSM. It may be great in the nighttime but asthetically, doesn't quite fit, IMHO. My vote

You're right, Hyndai has it, and so does the LEXUS, GS and IS, which I think make it look hot depeding on the color of the car. I guess it just boils down to preference. I am contemplating swapping my 6000K HID FOGS for the 3000K HID FOGS, but I so far can't find these bulbs rebased with a 9006 connector, all D2S or D2R and im not in the mood to rebase myself.
