RelentlessOne's Summer Mods (No 56k)

I was going to wait until I got my rear lip to post pics, but since that could take a while (Andy's), I figured I'd just do it now. Recent mods are: OEM side skirts, red/white tails, ACURA debadge, black calipers, Brembo blank rotors, painted engine cover, and 6000k HIDs. The engine cover looks plain red, but it is red with blue highlights when the sun hits it, you can't tell in the pics. Next up is a drop with tint and then maybe somewhere down the line rims. Thanks for looking.

yeah i see a blue hue to the paint, imo i think you should have done the engine cover gloss black with a blue hue, instead of the red, but none the less you have good look goin, get some rims and drop the bitch

Fresh as fuck. TIGHT WORK MAN. You movin on up, to the east sideeeeee lmao. I barely see you on the boards but you have advanced in your modding, that much more. THATS SOME EMACULATE PAINT ON YOUR CAR. It looks flawless, HONESTLY. Good PS wit the engine and keep up the good work. Look forward to the rest of your progress. Keep us posted.

That baby wet. I can see the pearl look in the engine cover. Can that paint be bought in the store or was it a paint shop job.

Thanks. It's funny how photogenic the paint is, considering there are MANY flaws. Tons of chips on the hood from highways, dents in passenger door, various scratches. It sucks majorly, but most of the flaws were on the car when I bought it. Plan on taking care of the dents soon.

To achieve the color on the engine cover, I used plain old gloss red but topped it with the mid-coat from Dupli-Color's Mirage red/blue series. The kit comes with black primer but I used my own spin on it. It looks insane in direct sunlight.

Thanks for all of the compliments guys!

I believe the pads were ProStop Ceramics, I got them from Pep-Boys. So far I have no complaints with either the pads nor rotors. Braking is smooth, it's nice to be able to brake and not feel the vibration you get from the stock rotors.

you know what you should do, you shoudl find a local auto paints store and see if they put color in spray cans, then have them put in a blue or red pearl into the can. Then respray the engine cover black, then throw on a few coats of the desired pearl then clear it. It will look beyond SUITE!!!

Oh and Killer ride and pics!!!

Not a bad idea at all. I kinda like the red for now, but I will keep that in mind for the future.

Thanks. I made 2 L-shaped brackets (aluminum) and bolted them to the underside of the bumper. Then I used another piece to act as a crossbar and attached the license plate to that.
