I'm not knocking the replica being made whatsoever. I just think its amusing, how many people b*tched and moaned about the price of the mugen, enough to consider it too pricey to buy, but yet, when they stopped making them, people went nuts. I saw them 4 sale up to $1K. People even pm'ed me offers to buy mine, and it was still on my car.

Now going nuts to buy the replica.

Should'a just bought it when it was available.

Thats all.

i totally agree with you and i would have if i had my tl back then.
but sadly i was just a dumb highschool kid with an integra.

pretty crazy how much everything on these cars is going for.
oem lip kit can fetch you a grand, mugen spoiler a grand, and then the sarona about 300.

thats $2300 in spoilers alone!
practically a supercharger.

depends. do you consider suspension performance? do you consider a sound system looks?

for this car
suspension > stereo > looks > performance.

for my project car
suspension > performance > looks.

i promised not to spend half the cost of the car on modding...

and sadly already modding $ > cars entire cost $

lip kit alone was 1300

i buy most of my stuff from acura... although pricey, i feel better buying things i can see.

and the slew of parts i've bought in the past 2 months sitting in the extra room at home. it all totals to about 3600.

paid 3,500

100 bucks here.. 300 bucks there adds up quick..

also spending money on this type S Motor sitting in the garage thats not even in a car

in time, im very easily sidetracked as i consider all of my cars "projects"

so at any point in time i might focus on one and leave the others sitting around.. but for the time being. the TL is top priority.

i may be looking for a set of wheels for the TL and see a launch system for the accord lol. its just a matter of what grabs my attention.

but i do absolutely plan on doing the s swap with 6spd. it will just take time

hrmph, i always thought about using that m3 trunk spoiler as a rear windshield one.... never knew it could work. anyone know exactly whats involved in getting it to fit on there just right?

i was considering getting the junction produce one from a ucf20 and making that fit, but if the m3 trunk one works, i'll go that route instead

anyone know how much of an adjustment or what kind of adjustment is needed for the m3 lip to fit as a roof spoiler? im interested in this setup! im hoping its basically the same setup as slapping on the lip spoiler on the trunk! thanks!

hopefully i will have good news for you guys soon with a alternative roof spoiler for our tl's..its not the sarona or the m3 lip...looks like the sarona one tho..its off another car..but after taking some measurements off a few cars..i came up with something i think will work and look good..i might have to do very minor modifications to the edges,,but it should be a simple diy..and 50 bucks compared to 300..ill give it a shot..p.s when i had my integra i had a roof spoiler from a 96-00 civic sedan..worked awsome..just a lil research

I think it's great that theres a reasonable price for basically the same wing now... I would shoot myself if I spent a thousand dollars on a SPOILER... its just CRAZY. now they do look AMAZING! I just think its great that there is a replica for a reasonable price.

Just ordered a Sarona roof spoiler to match my Mugen spoiler. I cant wait for it to arrive! With such awesome TL photos, I couldn't resist buying that roof spoiler. I still want some Honda Access window visors though!
