pretty engine
Ok, personally I love how this turned out, even if all my house-mates were a bit high from the fumes
What do you all think?

Lots of pics of the process if anyone is remotely interested.

Thanx! I pretty much followed nameeri's instructions from his post. A few tips...
1) Work in a WELL ventilated area, the fumes are quite overwhelming, even in just the time I was taking the pictures inside.
2) Mask off everything, every little thing. I should have paid more attention to the bottom of all the sides. I ended up having to shave a little bit of dried paint from the bottom of the edges. No big deal but it isn't as clean looking as it could be. Like in my picts I masked off any area where the mist of the paint could travel below/into the piece being painted.
3) The 3.2 VTEC plate is easy to mask off because of the little groove that goes around it, so just put down two rows of wide masking tape and with a blade cut around the groove. Make sure to press down firmly on the tape to make sure any mist doesn't sneak in under any edge of the tape.
An alternative to masking this piece is to remove it. If you turn the piece over there are I think six or eight (I can't remember) tabs which hold it in place it looked. I didn't want to risk breaking any of the tabs, so I just masked it off.
4) On the battery cover on the right side there is a rubber thingy which you should take out, just squeeze it and push it down through the hole. This is where the metal brace arm in the car goes through.
Good luck, it really is easy.
Oh, and I went through about 1 and 1/2 cans of paint so pick up a few just incase you run out in the middle
I put three coats on all three pieces, than after it all dried I coated them with some 303 protectant. That stuff is great, I love it!

Local stores carry it like boat/marina stores and Ace Hardware.
This is their homepage: http://www.303products.com/protectant.htm
They have a link to search for retailers on there.
