I painted the intake, engine covers, and battery cover.

 

looks tight man. what kind of paint did you use to paint the engine cover? explain how you did it. i was thinking about doing that too

 

I bought the High Heat paint from Autozone which can withstand temps of 1200F and i taped off the stuff i didn't want painted and i just sprayed it on....it comes in a spray can...it was very easy...some places the paint will run..so let it dry and then recoat it lightly so it doesn't run....its a very simple thing to do and it looks real good

damn i was thinking of that too. I just got scare out when i open the hood up. i am not an expert in paiting so i just worry if i mess up, i cant go back again. you are brave man.

It is a special color only offered on the 99 TL...it is called Heather Mist....the color looks like silver wit a slight gold tint...it is between the gold TL and the silver TL....thanks bro

 

Hmmm, did they make the Cl's in that color too?? Sorta looks purple right??!!
