I appreciate the opinion but how is suede and leather ricy? maybe if it was some ugly ass vinyl, but i can respect your opinion. the pictures don't do it any justice trust me. plus i'm trying to make a show car so i needed to brighten it up

I wanted to do something different of course black suede would have looked great but how boring is that. I think the red gives the inside some life it brightens the car up. I wanted it stand out because i enjoy taking my car to car shows. I've seen plenty of gray cars with black and red interiors why is that so strange to you? Oh yeah at the show the judges will see this as well as the interior. Not the best pic but i just went out and took it.

whoa pretty freakin crazy. i like it! i think daytime pics will give you better comments. its too dark and the flash is probably making it all shiny and too flashy.

I want suede soooo bad in my TL... It's so comfy and it holds you in.. experience through my 02' LEXUS IS300.. I want those seats in my TL.. I would have gone with Black or Silver suede but yeah thats just me! Great work! Love seeing that done!

You will DEFINITELY get a lot of attention with that interior. I'm not sure if I'm sold on that interior... think you need to take daytime pics. Props for being different.

good job but...
PROS
-different
-one of a kind
-eye catching
-DEFINITELY NOT GHETTO! People throw that word around and GHETTO is NOT the word to describe it because the worksmenship looks really good.
CON
-Doesnt mesh. The look you have is a sporty look. I mean this will look good on a s2000 you know something more sportier. The TL is a luxury car so the sportiness and the luxuriousness clashed. So I guess its not a negative but just doesnt flow well with the TL
-the OEM leather seats are kinda wrinkly so If you did the whole seat suede, like black and red suede thru out then it might look better
-maybe its the camera and the night pictures but the red looks kinda orangish. maybe a deeper red will look better.
Overall, good job but doesnt flow my boat. Also, just because you put expensive suede and different, doent mean the judges at the shows will like your car more. It has to look nice to and smooth too.

I think it is a bit ricey.
But I have never ever been a fan of bright colors inside of a car. If it were a more burgundy color or something that would come in a stock vehicle it would look a lot better.

All I can say is , Damm that looks funky !!
I like my 05 black leather seats , Now if they ever did need replacing maybe fur black and white mink would be cool if I was pimping , But then I would have to get a matching hat !!

thanks for all the opinions guys. i know you guys don't like the idea of a TL looking like a tuner but, I think I'm gonna be the first to try it and if it comes out nasty I'll start from scratch again. thats the fun part about customizing a car you can always sell what you got and get new stuff. We'll see when i'm completely finished what you guys think but, it won't be finished for a few months.

this process is alot cheaper than most of you think...suede is not expensive at all, especially some of the lower grade stuff (mike, not saying yours is). I cant see this costing any more than $4-500, including labor. I am redoing my entire interior in suede, and the cost isnt that bad at all. For some of the cheaper/mid grade stuff, you can get 5 square yards for about $200. In the pics, it seems as though less than half of that is used. All the shop had to do was pull the covers off, and sew these pieces in place of wahteverwas removed...not tough at all for them...

I think what kind of makes in look over the top are the headreasts. I think it would look 10X better without the red in them. However, the other inserts look great
