Post up your REAL Mugen spoilers. (no offense to those that have a replica, just kinda trying to get an idea of who still has an authentic one)

Ill start with mine. Bought from MezzerTL-S back in the day (was black first)

always wanted one, but had a change of heart and went with the inspire wing instead. it's always nice to set ourselves apart whenever we can by having rare items

^ agreed , the Mugen 3PC is the shit, but u can never wrong with a 3 PIECE CARBON FIBER spoiler, heel toe was the only one after years and years to actually recreate it and did an amazing job recreating it, making it look much more aggresive, I had my chances to get any spoiler I want but chose the CF, who wouldn't?.

I can tell u one thing for a fact not many people on here are rockin the MUGEN besides the O.P......even rev 01 and black rain took their mugen badge off, only god knows why.....but that's crazy..

 

I love how the angle matches the front bumper

 

Like I said, nothing against the replica, but ANYONE could go get one.. not the case with the Mugen

jjasha has one for sale... jus puttin it out there for any1 interested. tad bit pricey for a spoiler imo but worth the money for a rare artifact.

 

I thought he had the REP??, cause I remember a long time ago telling him he just needs a 3pc wing and him sayin he had the rep layin in his garage.

u know if he had the Mugen that would have been on his car since DAY 1! That spoiler isnt something u keep in the garage.....

i hate how the mugen spoiler had a little molded spot for the mugen badge...and the mugen badge didnt even line up kuz its not a rectangle...

Haha nice. I just picked up some uber JDM goodness last night. To my knowledge I'll be the 2nd TL with these. And the only other one really isnt around anymore

those spoilers vanished to god knows where, or unless people are hiding them in their garage or under their beds lol.....compared to the amount they actually made, I hardly ever seen anyone in JAPAN rockin it as well......its literally only a handful.

Before the replica came out, that was a common price. Think about it. Look how many ppl posted that still have it. 3? 4?

 

no i understand that it is very rare. but it is not like a rare artifact that you could invest in, so i cant justify ever paying that much for any spoiler unless it was made of a mixture of carbon fiber and platinum. Mugen's profit margins on these spoilers must have been enormous, assuming they sold enough.

not saying i dont like it though. it looks awesome...but man that price just kills it for me. doesnt seem worth it. but thats just my opinion.

I still find it funny, that when I got mine, they were still readily available through King, and people didnt want to pay the $400 for it. Yet got bent over when King stopped carrying them.

I think it's the single best looking spoiler for the TL. the oem is too oem, lol, the a-spec isn't bad but I've always been a fan of deck-lid spoilers and the M3 lip look terrible IMO

 

i agree. i don't like "wing" spoilers on cars that aren't made for the track. m3 is ehhhhh. mugen looks the most flush and the best!

look how the O.P's spoiler doesnt have that point as much as this Mugen spoiler......WTF? one cleary has more than the other? ARE THEY MUGEN OR FUGEN?





p.s picture angles are suposed to give the wing that offical look, but u can see both clearly are Mugen and looks way different.....even in Angles your still suposed to see that point in the middle......in this one u dont....O.P looks more flat than pointy.....no?
