Nokya 2500K Artic Yellow Installed

Not much of a biggy but as I promised, I'd snap some photos after the install. Just installed these this morning so obviously no night shots yet. Also snapped these photos on my phone which is obviously sh*t quality but you guys get the idea.

Front View:

Side View:

Left Fog: (slight crack)

Right Fog (Major crack =/)

I was very tempted to do the lexan foglight conversion and wanted a cheap alternative to the broken glass. So, I went to the Home Depot and bought myself a sheet of Lexan XL10, primer, metallic paint, and sealant.

After doing further research on the lexan foglight conversion, I realized that those lexan sheets that hardware stores sell aren't as strong and melts easily after 6 months of extreme heat from the bulbs. So, instead of taking the cheap way out, I decided to return everything I bought from Home Depot and decided that the best way to save up and go with the premade Lexan MR10 foglight lenses specifically made for our TL's on ebay.

I'm currently on a tight budget and spending money continuously on these cheap XL10 lexan sheets constantly won't help the matter. I rather go with the XL10 lexan sheets which are way stronger and more resistant to being melt. So, why go too cheap for something that won't even last that long?

For anybody planning to do the lexan foglight conversion, don't buy the XL10 lexan sheets from the Home Depot, it's not worth it although it's only $3.64 a sheet. You'll just be throwing away your money in the long run. Stick with the MR10 lexan sheets which will last longer in durability than the OEM foglight lenses. It's only $51 for 2 MR10 lexan sheets from ebay.

I'll be getting these soon and putting them on

P.S: How can you adjust the foglights? Is it the bolt that's directly behind the foglight? My right foglight sits higher than the left =/.

Course they do, during the daytime that is. I'm waiting until it gets darker. That's where the difference begins. HID is the way to go, I agree, but not for the moment. (:

All halogen bulbs look the same... they're all in the dull yellow spectrum.

the bulbs are kool, but I think 3K HIDs in the fogs are the way to go. 1. Cause they look ILL 2. They Def help you WAYYY MORE in the rain/snow and driving in the night. My first set of HIDS costed me $350!!!! years back, now they sell so cheap its DEF worth it

AM FTMFW!!!

Def agree with JDM Inspired.. the halogen bulbs are more for show and of course, does not shine as bright as the HIDs. If you want looks and performance, go with the HIDs. In my case, I'm on a budget and want a cheap alternative, (until i fix my lense of course). They still help you, not much but they do.

Not really to be honest. You can see the yellow but it's not that extremely noticeable. I guess that's if you aim it correctly. In my case, I pulled up close to a wall and realized that my right side foglight is higher than my left. I need to adjust it soon. Does anybody know how to? I heard its just a 10mm bolt you mess around with? Can someone confirm?

On another note.. my friend bought 100w JDM yellow halogen bulbs and they shined not brighter, but farther. Mines are brighter, but don't shine as far. I guess it's the difference in the wattage. His are more of a dull yellow.
