Talking Newbie sayin hello

This is my '02 TL-S I bought it two weeks ago with 47,063 miles on it. Since then I've added rims, tint, amp and sub. (I know the gold needs to go-give me time people!) Will add more pics soon!

they rubbed alot when I first got them but I had them machined and changed the offset (somewhere around 47-52) and now they fit fine. yea it does look 4x4ish but I'm waiting til I wear these tires out before I get the 225/35/20 nittos and then slam the hell outta it. thanks for ur comment

How do you get the offset changed. Did not know that could be done.

I like the rim, just think they are a little too big. Oh, and you need a spoiler, that would complete the look.

And welcome

Nice color choice! I love NBP. My 02 TL-S just had its 47k b-day as well. Post pics when you shave that nasty gold emblem off and drop that thing a little bit.

yea they are Davin Streetspins and you cant really see through the mesh in person so it looks like one piece until they actually spin. good eye though i'll have to take a more "realistic" vantage point

You can change your offset if you have a friend with a machine shop or a wad of cash, just have them shave the wheel "pad" (where rim bolts onto hub) a couple of millimeters until you're tuckin. piece of cake

Car looks good
These are the only spinning rims that I really care for as they actually float and almost sit still while the car is in motion and they don't look too cheap.
And welcome

Are you located in So Cal? Riverside? Cause I saw a NBP with spinners on central st.

The spinners are not my taste but.....they are an eye catcher

honestly at first I was actually tired of the whole spinning rim thing too, but Davins are a far cry from the ones you see sticking 2-3 inches off the side of a car. Also these aren't flashy chrome so you probably wouldnt know they were spinners unless they were in motion. yea that was probably me. I live up in sycamore highlands. you have a TL also?

Shit if I would have known that I would not have sold my TSW's. Do you know about how much that would cost. Also does it compromise the strength of the wheel at all.

Yeah I got a 03 NBP TLS.

You're wheels are more subtle than most spinners cause their not chrome. It just caught my attention cause it looked like your car was floating

The davins are nice playa! Expensive set of wheels, but y didn't you go for 19's? They would have looked 10x better if you had 19's with a kit and a nice coilover set up. Thumbs up to you though and welcome to azine.......
