Just got tinted yesterday

50% front, 20% rear


also, does anyone else w/ 3M tint have the logo on it? it's on all four windows plus the rear window...a little annoying but oh well

yeah, i wish i could've done 20% all around but 50% is the darkest i could legally go in the front

if that was the case u shouldve just got %35 all around. i went with %20 all around even tho its illegal and that 3M logo would drive me nuts.

i asked, the shop wouldn't do 35% in front. and that 3M logo IS driving me nuts. it's in my peripheral vision and when i check my sideview mirror on the driver's side it's right f#@kin there!

oh well, at least the logo isn't visible from the outside

dang, your tint installer went crazy with putting that 3M logo on it.. My last car that had 3M tint only had it on the lower right hand side of the driver side window.. I guess your installer is proud as hell of 3M products. did you get the 3M color stable film?

Uhhhh yea Minivans have dark tint in the back and light in the front.............................not cool

reason for that is b/c usually all the windows except for front 2 windows are factory smoked glass.. forcing people to have to get the front 2 windows tinted on their own with film.. Plus due to most state's tint laws, 35% is the darkest you can go on the pair of front windows.. and in this case 50% for this guy!

Man screw the law, I mean honestly, if a cop pulls you over, put all the windows down half way or even all the way. I mean honestly, who wants their privacy to be shown? I need my privacy no matter what. I have some percent tints on mine, which Im gettin rid of and getting either 5% or 10%. It will protect my leather and give me my space. Will post pics up soon.

That 3M logo is definitely not supposed to be there. I have 3M tints and mine dont appear at all. Go back and demand them to do it once over

ok, first of all, tinting the back windows nice and dark and then putting a lighter tint in the front windows is plain out right POINTLESS. It doest complete the dark tint look on the car at all. And that 3M logo shit is not right. Get it redone or whatever because why would there be a random ass logo in the tint showing. Anyways, get all the windows tinted the same and i guarantee it will look sooo much better. If laws apply for your state about tint then i can understand.

When it comes to our cars and 3M tint, is there any scratching at all involved with our cars like in the newer TLs?

i knew most of you wouldn't like how my tint looks, oh well. i wish i could go darker in front but i'd rather just do it all legal than have to deal w/ failing inspection or possibly getting a tint ticket. the lighter fronts don't bother me that much, but 20% or 35% all around would definitely look better.

and the 3M logos seem to be fading away now since i cleaned my windows. i guess they'll just eventually fade

lol. the logos are actually starting to fade now. hopefully they'll be completely gone soon. if not i'm taking my car back to the tint shop!
