Cool New Shoes and Rubber Bands

Finally got my new wheels installed last week, and washed it and gave her a quick wax and took some pics yesterday. I love the stock wheels, just wanted them to be bigger.

Specs:
19x8.5 MRR HR2's - Machine Finish
225/35 General Exclaim UHP's
Eibach Prokit
Cut Bumper Tabs
Color-Matched Headlights
Debaged
3" Tips

On to the pics....

And my first attempt at an HDR image.....

Future plans include a new version of the color matched headlights, HID fogs, and possibly ksports or koni shocks, haven't decided yet. I've got the boat look going on and need to lower the front.

thats the boat effect i was talking about. pro-kits do that for our car which is why i want Koni's w/ adjustable perches or just going with ksports so the front can be lowered. front has about 1.5 finger gap while rear is 1

Really? What shocks are you on? I'm still on stocks, so may be that's why?

Thanks for all the compliments. I'm really glad I went with these, the quality of the wheel is definitely first rate, and they do look HUGE, that was the goal!!!

I was wondering if those are on a TL.... you finally did...good job!

Do you have an issue of rubbing?

I did at first, so I cut the bumper tabs and haven't had any rubbing since. If I go any lower, I'll have to get my fenders rolled. And thats no rubbing with a system in the back.

Nice, I've been thinking about those wheels also. Do you mind if I ask how much and where you got them from? I think it would look hotter lower. Still nice though.

Sweet looking ride. The wheels look good....I could only imagine how much the look would change when you lower the car more.

Nice wheels! The car looks really good, except I wouldve put 235/35 instead of 225/35... it would make the car appear lower, and it's the appropriate 19" size for the TL so...

I guess 235 will rub because of 8.5 with 45 offset?

Indeed, I live down by Millenia, but I'm up in the Winter Springs area on the weekends so just lemme know, I'm new to the area...

Exactly, I killed the search button reading up on those type of issues before I made my purchase, 235's would have caused too many problems especially since I want to go lower....

it's not double din, i've got the avx1, but it's hooked up to my nav screen so i've got 2 screens. i do want to upgrade to a double din in the future, i'll get some pics of the interior later this week when i take some more photos

Not sure where this info came from, but someone lied to you.

1. The choice of a 225 or a 235 is reliant upon wheel width and how much room you have with the offset of the wheel - NOT because its a TL.

2. No it will not appear lower, the only difference in a 225 or a 235 is width.

Anyways, car looks beautiful! Perfect choice. With a slam, it will be flawless.
