)[/IMG]I will post a DIY when i open it up again if i can find my digicam. I still have to brighten the needles. And you may need a dremel to cut some parts of the plastic to make the LEDs fit in the speedometer, unless u put 3mm there, then u should be fine.
What a first day of spring it will be tomorrow...

One comment about the pics... there are a lot of 'hot spots' with this LED setup. Hot spots = brighter areas / dim areas. If I were to tackle such a task, I'd try and 'even out' the brightness (if that's possible with LEDs!)
Do a search -- Tatewaki did this to his car ... took him over 12 hours to do the complete conversion (from taking out the center stack to get to the dash ... soldering resistors, sanding down LEDs, etc) for both stereo/clock gauages as well as speedo ... the whole nine yards. This job is NOT for the timid! I doubt you'd want to take apart your car no more than once.

I cant seem to find Tatewaki's pics of his LED setup, if someone can post them it'd be great. The old links are just not working.
LEDs always have hot spots, u cant escape it. They look preety bad in these pics, but in reality they're almost perfectly even (except the 240 and E). My phone camera is very sensitive to light i guess. I'm gona fix em up this weekend anyways and try n get some pics from my cousin's camera. I'll post them up.

and you ran these in series im assuming, and each led had its own resistor that bought the voltage down to 5v right? thanks so muchh... my 200 led's are ion and im gonna install this week 
also and do u have ann aftermarket blood wood grain trim or is that all stock factiry?

Great job dude. How did you manage to put one LED behind each long marker and number. I thought the spots to put LED were limited to only a few and you had to put LEDs at an angle to light up all numbers. We need DIY real bad on this one.

if you put them in series, the last led in the series would be dimmer than the first one. so i doubt theyre in series. parallel would keep them at equal brightness i think...If i remember my physics correctly... hahaha
