transmission failures in the autos are actually quite common especially the 5-speed automatic ones (2000-2003)(1999's had a 4-speed, which are also kwoun to go out, but not as often though)

and damaged, you you mean accident damage then? or just the tranny damage? not totally clear on that

also going for you coming from the integra/civic crowd, yes this crowd is a lot different from them, especially since there is literally no ricers, compared to the civics and such (and generally older too, 20+ is not uncommon, with some members on here, well into there 30's and 40's)

as far as parts go, they are a bit more expensive, with not nearly as many choices either, but when people do see your modded TL, they are alot more likely to look twice, because it is not a common car to actually mod

also you will learn are cars our PIGS when it comes to their weight, but what you back is a nice ride (and quiet at the same time too), and such though

lol both....i thought it jus needed a alignment wen i test drove it..."yaaa right" nope the caster on the right side is completely off its at least 1.5 degrees off from the left...but um the tranny has a the shift solenoid codes and its a 99 btw but it still drives good because i drive it normally

still tranny failure is not uncommon, so i would get that solenoid fixed, so the code will not even get stored in memory

and the caster , a little variance is allowed, but not by that much though (and hopefully it is not frame damage, but just like a bent strut/radius rod or something, simple to fix

yaa i hope so i have a body man who ima take it to..to make sure its nothing too major its jus outta my hands since our caster ncamber arent factory adjustable...my rims look like - _ the right side is a dramatic degree back...n the rear cambers in more then the left side..i assume 2 blown struts n caster adjustment will be good

i got mine when i was only 23 also (and previous owner actually got it when he was like 20 lol)(but yeah the normal owners/driver that you see of our cars, is quite a bit older though)

and for pigs looking your way, yes less likely, but they will still profile though, especially if they start to notice the mods

it is actually, but a mother f@cker to change though (not so much with proper tools though)
also don't forget to check those front lower ball joints, they are not of the stongest design, and like to where out (less then 100k is not unheard of, with multiple cars)

and fyi, blown struts have absolutley nothing to do with alignment angles on our cars (they only have to support the weight of the car)
and how much camber difference are we talking about here in the rear?

1.9 is quite a bit, assuming you where getting it aligned after getting lowered, are you sure the car is actually level?

something is REALLY not right, again assuming you where getting it aligned after getting lowered, if anything they should at least be negetive... both sides

right front seems a little excessive for camber, i would assume somewhere in the -1.0 range judging by your wheelwell gap, along with that left side not being enough, could the whole subframe have been shifted to the right side? or the front end (especially the strut towers) been shifted to the driver side even?

and the rear camber is a little bit better with it only being 0.7 off now, but still a little on the high side for difference though....

make sure to also get steering axis inclination, included angle, along with a couple of others angles too, for better evaluation, of exactly what might be going on

i do too at times, BUT i also like the fact that the 2g modded is so much more rare to actually see (they are out there, but not nearly as many as the 3g's though, but even then those are rare compared to all the modded civics and such)

and yeah a condo/house would probably be a better/wiser investment anyways

also getting the ride height for each corner may not hurt either, so we know exactly how low/level you are sitting

normally i would say center of the wheel hub to the body panel straight up, but considering that panels might have been repair before, you never know how accurate they might be

that is why sometimes, finding a good reference point underneth the car is a better bet, such as the control arms inner bolt (at the center of it of course) down to the alignment rack would probably be a better point to measure from

along with measuring from like the ball joint to the rack, then subtracting that from the initial measurement will provide how level the car is exactly sitting, since it helps to take out the variance of the tires

Thanks man..my word of advice about dropping it..is..u been (stock height) for however long..and it hasnt killed you so go with a actual reputable company that will give u quality and style..(not sayin anythig bad about my springs because i do need struts) but i hope u get the idea
