my TEASER thread

ok, so I'm pretty new on here. I got my tl-s 5/20/10 and well I was debating if i was going to do anything and of course I would have to come across this site and see cars like 02ACTclean/slushhyyy/JDM inspired/CJITTY just to name a few and well....this is the results

hopefully by next week I'll be able to reveal everything. I'm still waiting on 2 more parts....

I can say there are no sways in this run, but I am a suspension junkie so that will come soon enough. It sucks knowing you have stuff and can't do anything with it. But I'll keep this updated and hopefully by the end of next week have some full pics up

Ok, I can definitely identify some of the things in the pics. I see a baseball bat, baseball glove, and a hammer. Am I close...lol?

the inexpensive way to roll fenders.

I've been looking everywhere for exhaust. I was going to get the tsudo axle back but it is on back order until the end of august (YA'LL NEED TO STOP BUYING THESE SO i CAN GET ONE) Speed-element even raised the price. At one time it was like $248 or something like that now its $325. I might end up piecing together a custom system. If I can't find anything I'm going to wait to put everything on. I don't like doing things at different times. And I hate having not having an exhaust to go with a "kit". But I'm thinking about using magnaflow 14829 muffler which I think is the same at the accord catback.

What ya'll think?

catback is definitely better than axleback .. dunno about performance gains .. but it would sound louder than an axle .. plus magnaflows are well known. i say do it.

fitment should be the same (just a tad off) since suspension/exhaust is universal on both 2g tl and 98-02 av6's.

I think you should get an ATLP

I myself wouldn't get an exhaust because its too loud and attracts too much attention, sometimes bad attention.

The most I would go would be removing mid muffler(s).

I don't want loud....just nice deep tone. I'm not about performance anymore just more of a "mature" look and sound. I figured if I just put the 2 magna flow mufflers, on like the tsudo axle back, it'll give me the deep tone I was looking for. I was trying to stay under $350 for exhaust, thats why i was going to go for the axle back option or the mufflers

Fig I'd just talk to you on your thread instead of mine haha

Looks like we're running the same, if not similar parts. Was even considering doing the same Magnaflow exhaust if I wasn't able to source the Tanabe! Get some pics posted soon!

I didn't get a WW plate holder when I got my lip! Bastards! lol

Well the tsudo is backordered til mid/end august, I wasn't looking to pay more then $350 for exhaust. I just want the tone and looks I'm no worried about performance.

It took them 3 weeks to get me the rear. Their machine was "broke" for like 2 1/2 weeks then they shipped it on a thursday and I got it Wednesday. So that was the least they could have done. If it wasn't for that i would have been finished everything.

I actually do not have any before pics. I wasn't really happy with it so I never felt it deserved pictures or a wash....well going to go back to washing my vehicle on a weekly basis.

I'm going to start a new thread with more pics. Me and some of my friends rode around town. And they took over 200 pics of my car. So I have to go through and decide which ones to put up.
