My debut- 02 S, tint, Lexus fog projectors

My name is Ben and this is my first thread on here. I'm 22, from SC. I have lurked here for a few years, ever since I purchused my 2002 Type-S. I bought it with 86,xxx miles and have already managed to bring it to 161,xxx. It is currently on its second tranny. It is my daily driver, with my stang further down as major money pit. Minor mods are as follows...

5% tint all around
50% entire windshield
Debadged Acura and 3.2TL
Hardwired Valentine 1
OEM headlights matched to A-Spec look
Foglights retrofitted with Lexus IS300 projector fogs
4300k H3 HID kit in projector fogs
K&N Air filter
Holes shaved on front bumper

All light work was outsourced so I don't have a DIY.

All pics taken with point and shoot Sony 7.2 mp. Here we go...

Last pic is of the place that does the best tint work around this area, just had to give them a good plug.

I mainly have posted on SVTperformance.com. Here is my 96 Ford Mustang Cobra that I've had since I was 15. The paint on it is stock, with Ford having painted 1999 cobras this color. Mods are...

Bassani mid-length headers
Bassani x-pipe w/cats
Borla XS mufflers with turndowns
Maximum Motorsports coil-overs front/rear with Bilsteins
Powerslot rotors
10th aniversary calipers
T-56 6-speed transmission
Spec stage 2 clutch
Fidanza aluminum flywheel
Ford aluminum driveshaft
Built rear end with 31 spline differential and axles
Fluidyne radiator
MGW shifter
10th aniversary door panels
Dynamat xtreme door panels

i jsut quoted your post and copy and pasted one of the links.. btw your img links are all the same for the tl pics, that may be the problem..

anyways looking good, do you have any night pics with the projector fogs on?? i always wanted to do projector fogs but don't like the idea of having them look like small circles when they're on with the regular lowbeams.. (i had an 93 es300 with projector yellow fogs..man i miss them lol)

Both cars are very clean that paint job is pretty slick, rare.

How much does the stang put to the rear wheels?

Ben,

Clean cars... like to see a small drop on both, something like Eibach Pro Kit that keeps the ride nice and gives it a clean look without sacrificing ride quality - but otherwise you have em nice and clean.

+12 on the night time fog pics....

thanks for the compliments ya'll. the mustang is on coilovers and is just about perfect height to prevent bottoming out on speedbumps. i agree though, the TL needs a nice subtle drop, nothing crazy. night time pics will definitely happen, I just have to work on aiming the fogs toward the ground and adjust them a little more to make them a little more equal.

as for the mustang, without a tune and bad plugs, it just dynoed at 275 hp,275 tq so i'm hoping for 290+ after a couple things.

thanks again

It's blacked out, but A-spec style to him i suppose. Looks good though.

A-spec headlights are body colored right?

TL looks sick man! I really like the fogs.

That Cobra is downright is gorgeous man. One guy used to have one like that at my dad's work. The paint is trippy but sweet

Light output update

Took awhile but finally got to aiming these right and taking some pics of the light output in a parking garage. Check em out!

Keep in mind, these are yellow lensed Lexus projectors with 4300K bulbs going thru them. This is for maximum light output in mind, not necessarily for a straight yellow look (Would have gone with 3000k bulbs in addition). Light output with these vs. just headlights in night and day.

shweeet! i think a combo with 3000K fogs w/ yellow lens and 5-6000K for the heads would look sicker!! more lexus-esque? lol
